“Harold L Carter after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University did further postgraduate studies at Ohio State University that included courses in African History, Hebrew History and Culture and Arab History and Culture in Teacher Workshops conducted by Ph.D Jewish and Arabic professors as well as Anthropology and BlackStudies courses that included lectures by prominent visiting African professors.
I have transcript copies showing over 130 postgraduate credits earned after I received my Bachelor of Science degree at Columbis University at the following colleges or universities:
George Washington University; San Francisco State Univerity; University of California, Berkeley, California; California State University, and Ohio State University.
Some of the postgraduate courses were required courses of study for the obtaining of a Master degree in Governmental Administration at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and Political Science at the other indicated universities.
At Columbia my courses of study were Political Science, Government, History and French. The five colleges or universities that I lived near were in the following cities: New York,Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Berkeley and Los Angeles, California that were occasioned by economic or financial necessities following jobs that were designated federal “temporary-three month” durations for whatever reasons, institutional racism at that time being a possibility at the Peace Corps Headquarters, Executive Administrator, Professor Bradley Patterson, George Washinton University, former assistant to President Dwight Eisenhaur; the Bureau of Prisons; the Correspondence Section Executive Offices of the White House for President John F Kennedy, across the street from the White House; California State Attorney General’s Office, San Francisco, California; and Dormitory Counselor at the University of California, Berkeley, while pursuing graduate studies there after graduate studies at San Francisco, State College. When I moved to Los Angeles, it was graduate studies at California State University during which time I did volunteer American Civil Liberties Union (A.C.L.U.) recording interviews with citizens of Watts, Los Angeles following the Watts riot (uprising), and then after being hit by a speeding car (luckily just a fractured right shoulder) while crossing a campus intersection back to Columbus, Ohio, and Ohio State University !
