On a previous post, Dr Maya and that 80 year old friend of yours were so very right!  If I had known that I would live this long, and I had it to live over again, I would have taken better care of myself and  recalling that I was a freshman at Columbia University at the time of the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1954.  It has been at times even a treacherous and hazardos, long and winding road, and life’s has had its ups and downs … decisions that had to be made at various crossroads of life, I made.   How much more “successful,” wiser and profitable , particularly … (I would not have been a history teacher ! ) … perhaps … would they haave been  had I known then,  what I know now!   Sigh!  … Nevertheless, today is the first day of the rest of my life and  I must move forward… onwards and upwards!  Thank you for the reminder!
