“SKULLS CONFIRM THAT ALL MANKIND ORIGINATED FROM AFRICA”

“A new analysis of more than 6,000 skulls shows that modern humans are derived from a single point in Africa.  British scientists say.  Though some experts argue that humans evolved from different populations worldwide, genetic evidence and this studysupports the single origin theory that mankindarose out of Africa starting 50,000 years ago.  Andrea Manica at the University of Cambridge in England led a team that reported their findings in the journal Nature; they also found that in-breeding with other early humans like Neanderthals (Note:  descendants of the migrated African Homo erectus) was neither insignificant or non-existent, contrasting to recent suggestions that such mixture may have beencommon.  The study places the original root of modern humans in south-central Africa [Note:  “below Lower Egypt,” “south of the Sahara,” nearer equatorial Africa] in the Great Rift Valley near central Mozambique in East Africa.”  [p. 11]
